I included Mr Rooney in a recent post because I thought that the kid did well by his family in his dealings with Manchester United. The club gave in he won end of story.
Now he has just had a week off, on full pay, with nothing much wrong with him as much as I can see. He has hit the bevy and the junk food and has not run an inch or appear to have done any training. Reminds me of the late great Jim Baxter of Rangers FC and Scotland who rarely bothered to go to Ibrox to train preferring Bacardi. Gaza too has gone well down hill and I feel that Mr. Rooney is on the slippery slope behind him.
His wife has seen the back page of his bankbook and is just loving the "poor me" of a wronged woman scene.
They have both become a huge joke!
But Manchester United will have revenge and opposition fans who pay stupid money to sit in all weather watching these whippets will slag him rotten. I don't think that he has the temperament for a good slagging from the terraces live on TV or from a reporter taking a rise out of him and he will crack, probably assault somebody seriously and end up in jail!

I use cheap reading glasses and I love them! I had a pair for years, cost me £3 and yes I ended up with a bit of strain and the odd headache. I thought time to bite the bullet and pay an optician. Then I realised that the cheapies come in different strengths. So I moved up a strength which cost me £8. At first they were a tiny bit strong but now they are terrific. The strain has gone! The headaches have gone too.

Now I don't normally sully this blog much with these sporting prima donnas who make gizzilions out of mugs prepared to be out in all weather conditions paying loads of money to watch these performing whippets kick a plastic sphere about! When I was in my teens we played anything up to 18/20 a side football matches in a public park for 4 and 5 hours a days! People dropped out to go for lunch and came back in afterwards to the same game! Some guys had plaster casts on broken arms and legs but still played. Todays whippets could't keep up with us.
Of course, I have ended up in later life with chronic arthritis !!!!
