If California votes to legalise pot then people in Mexico stand to loss a lot of pesos and a load of customers. This is the main reason, as I see it, for the vicious on going drug war taking place in Northern Mexico. They gotta push product and get it sold prior to a possible downturn in the market place. So like any good supplier they have got to "eliminate" the competition.
