I suppose it might deter the odd one or two. But how do you impose it? Put pictures of everyone on a ban order up on the wall outside every pub and club? This would cost money as would taking them down at the end of the ban.
In any case their mates can buy from off sales and get them tanked up just the same. I get my groceries delivered including a case of 20 cans of Stella Artois 5% lager for £10 Now that is 50p per can!!! If I was banned who would know???
