So the manager no longer says who will play and when. the team was being thrashed 2-0 and he said no, I'm not playing !!! It takes me back to the days of my youth. a long time ago.

The Victor, a comic for boys, produced a story line about Georgous Gus who was a tremendous football player but would not play 90 minutes. He would come on, when times were hard, stand at the eighteen yard box line and shout for the ball. when it came to him, he would then rifle it past the keeper, scoring goals and saving the day for Hardcastle Utd or Malborough Town. Can't remember which.It was a slagging piece and the first time that I realised the power of print to slagg off wrong doings, but still appear innocent while doing it !!!
This guy now controls the whole business. He has got his sign on fee. He has wages going off shore, no doubt and he will now choose when he wishes to play. Brilliant strategy, on his part. To get rid of him now, they would not get their money back, who would want him anyway, they would make a loss on any sale. He is, however, so good, that he can be a game changer and winner, if he can be bothered.!!! Watch him ask for a bigger goal scoring bonus, next, as he has them by their balls!!.
