He is obviously mentally unstable on two counts. Firstly, he left the dogs in a 'microwave' baking police van and secondly, he has only tried to do the right thing !!! Get this eeeegit off the Force immediately !!!!
Cops and military dog handlers are told to hang their dogs up by the lead on tree branches, in training, should the noise of the dog, give away their position to a hiding crook or hunted enemy. I could never do it. I would let the dog off the lead first!
BTW this cop has done this before. This is his second offence. A spaniel, in his care was left to die by him. he got promoted after that incident !!!!!He must be jailed for animal cruelty and lose his job at the very least.
