This gentleman is definitely a winner !! Now somebody should ask, where is the document for speed cameras?
Then we all get speeding fines back and penalty points removed from licenses when they find out that they just might not have one of those either !!! The Law is the Law.
Not a lot of folks know that if yellow lines are put on the sides of roads, in the Uk, then there must be explanation signs fixed to buildings or lampposts which are easily seen, and a set distance apart, stating what times that folk cannot park.. The signs must be of a certain size. All of these details are written into the Laws.
A prosecution falls if one part of the Law falls. Eg no signs or wrong distance apart.
These radar units were useless in any case and withdrawn after many Court cases. Experts were produced to show that a taxi, police car, courier,ambulance or whatever, travelling past the unit, fitted with a VHF radio, could affect the signal and produce a wrong reading.
