192 out of 202 emergency phone line operators walk out on strike leaving the switchboard lit up like an Xmas tree.! 750,000 public sector workers don't go to work.
Dozens arrested, so far but the fun and games will commence this evening as folk get tanked up on booze. It could be a wild night and spill over into the weekend.
A group of teenagers wearing hoodies, some with masks on were arrested for doing absolutely nothing !!! Some marchers protested at the Police action and the Police hustled them down into a tube station and blocked the entrance with more cops.
