Every Summer for the past six/seven years I have had ants running about my flat. They are so nippy and can climb up table legs, get in the bed and everywhere else. I have masses of fun chasing and squashing them but they just keep coming.!!! These new ones will get the same treatment. Perhaps both species will kill each other off for territorial advantage and country by country supremacy!
As they love sugar I put down dishes with Coca Cola in it. They flock to it, as they can smell it from a distance. They dive in and then figure out that they can't swim and drown. Tough luck!!!
