'Saint Bono' facing huge Glastonbury protest¿ for avoiding tax

'Saint Bono' facing huge Glastonbury protest for avoiding tax | Mail Online

Saint Bono was born in Eire and I assume has a home there. The taxation structure, there, favours writers of songs, poets and Bugie the Helicopter book writers like Randy Andy's ex wifie Sarah 'Fergie' Ferguson. Writers and artists pay no tax, zero, nothing !! Hence her "moving" there at the time of her book writing. Residents get the same deal as those born there.
However record sales are a different issue. That income would be taxed. Why should U2 not move their corporate base to a tax haven?? They are doing nothing illegal.
The Rolling Stones, Queen and other huge bands at one time had to pay 98% of their income in taxes, at one time, in the UK. They moved to France, rented a villa and recorded Exile on Main Street there. They paid an awful lot less tax after that move and why shouldn't they as long as it is legal??
