Very reminiscent of the 'smart bombs' from Iraq, which could be aimed to fly down chimneys. Figures produced after that War showed that 5% of them worked properly. A strong puff of wind could blow them off track, never mind guidance system failures, differences between exiting from cool bomb bays into super hot air which expanded metal parts, quickly, wrecked them and a plethora of other reasons.
