Here come the leaks to the press. How will this kid ever get a fair trial now? Everybody and their Granny know who he is and what he is accused of doing. Defendants should not be named or identified, in any way, until after the verdict is reached, in order, to ensure a fair trial.
Naming Bellfield, deprived that other girl of any justice, which she was due in Court. She had wound herself up, to go through her ordeal, reliving whatever happened, if anything. However the Judge cancelled the case because of prior publicity.
