So what would you do if you won the lottery? Like everyone else I have often wondered just what I would do. Admittedly our lotteries in the Uk have much smaller prizes but we now have acess to one covering Europe. So the Uk one gives anything from £2 to £6 million and the Euro one an go as high as £40 million
I may have a slight inside advantage as I was an Accountant before I stopped working. The first thing to realise is that these prizes are tax free. This is important, as the Government cannot call it unearned income and take 50pence in the pound. Any interest that you get is taxable. So you gotta work on getting deductions to avoid paying 50 pence on every pound of interest. I would expect 10% interest per year on these sums, so say you won £25 million on Euro. That is £2.5 million per year.
Many people just lash out on new cars, houses, boats, spending the prize.This is stupid!!! You put the prize away.On our £25 million I would put away, in offshore banks £20 million. The interest on that is tax free.
Leave the £5 million in the Uk. You have just reduced your tax bill by £1 million.
So you want stuff, but you will gain interest on £5 million at 10% is a taxable amount of £500,000 50 pence is
£250,000 to the taxman. Not bad so far on a £25 million win.
Take out a bank loan to buy a car and a bank loan to buy a house using the £5 million as surety for these loans.

The off shore interest covers the home then. Okay there may be small change to find, but you still got the big wedge, with interest, two cars and a nice house, which is worth much more than you built it for.!!!
If you can be bothered you can pop out of the country every so often and claim to be non domiciled and just pay no tax at all!! But this is easy. I like my way as it keeps you busy juggling about but I suppose that is what I used to do so old habits die hard. Perhaps just having a holiday every now and again is better, after all.

Sound is a wonderful thin and there would be no music with it vibrating at a constant number of cycles per second. A strange guy named Moog, invented a synthesiser on which you could alter the pitch and length of any note from it's normal frequency.
I can remember my first computer which was a Sinclair Spectrum. It had a beep on it and you could play around and alter the pitch and length of time for notes, just like a hugely expensive synthesiser. I also remember the first ATM in my area and it sounded beep beep on each number. So I got out the Spectrum and played with it to see if I could replicate the ATM beeps and I did.! There are 8 notes and 4 half notes in the C to C chromatic scale giving 12 possibilities or the numbers 1 to 10 and yes or no. By shortening the notes and increasing the pitch I discovered that the ATM is 2.5 octaves higher and the speed of the beep is 0.25. Strange that after all these years the machines are still the same.
Another handy musical tip is how to tune your guitar after you have put on a new full set of strings. If you pick up your phone and dial an unobtainable number, then the beeeeeeeep that you hear is a perfect G. You can then tune from there.
The phone system works on sound, too, the same way as the ATM does. Each number is a musical note or half note from 1 to zero. You can hear it when you listen to the auto dial, especially on a hands free phone. Each number has a slightly different sound but each beep is the same speed. A really naughty person could buy a small recorder/dictaphone and set up numbers on a speed dial. record the sounds, while it beeps and hang up.The get a dial tone and playback. This ,of course, is fraud and should not be done. But how would the phone company know as no record is available. This black art was called phone phreaking, in America, where kids would dial up perfect strangers, to have a chat with them, for free!! It only works on digital exchanges, which America had years before the Uk. I am sure that this is why phone companies are now offering unlimited local calls, for an hour each, at a set rate. You must hang up, after 59 minutes, or you get charged for the lot!!

With all of this panic buying they make more fuel duty, more VAT and more Corporation Tax on profits of higher sales all in the last month of the tax year. It is the last quarter too and the upturn on sales will look good for the economic figures.

This allows the 'expert' to check the mail and deliver it back into the address later. Most of them don't bother and just pick a name and area from the phone book.
The names of these people are then entered onto the Voters Roll, via the Internet, of course. The previous 'good' address is entered onto a plethora of credit card applications made in these names, in the recently moved section. The credit cards then arrive through the letterbox!!! No cloning, no stealing of cards, no buying details from websites. Should a firm actually phone up,to check, they are told that a divorce is imminent and the person has moved house. They sometimes pay one card bill with another one to gain a higher credit limit as a good payer!!!! Many get home shopping catalogues and make payments of goods, by card, to raise their limit. They just sell on the goods and eventually furnish a second and third flat, with the rental being paid by card, of course!!!!!!! This is the reason why credit card interest is so high, to pay for all f these losses.

I had a Black Ford Focus 1.8 for three years and it was a superb car, Unfortunately, it was a very unlucky car as vans trucks and cars all hit it at various times !!! So I've been looking forward to this new one which, if I an manage to get the Platinum version, has hands free parking, cameras, lane wander alarms, satnav but still has an outside toilet.!! But it is a 1.6. I do hope that they bring out a bigger one. My last had 150mph on the clock and I had it up to 135mph in the early hours of a couple of mornings when the motorway was empty.!! I am sure that it would have made it but I bottled it !!!

The first photo of the little angel didn't show the gold teeth, the gangbanger look and oh was that a water pistol lying on the counter in one photo???
So finally the guy comes out to say that the kid banged his head off the pavement and attacked him, first and therefore it was self defence. The kid and the guy will be a new TV News series fr the rest of the Summer. Forget wars,riots and banksters stealing gazzilions, this is the Summer blockbuster.

Oops who left the gas on ?? Gas,which is not piped ashore, is normally flared off on every rig. However this rig developed a gas leak, which has floated up, to form a cloud. If this floats over the flare it will ignite and could cause a rig explosion. It is going to make it rather dangerous for any repair crew to get on board!!

Obama is trying to get American political thinking away from the right wing and more towards the centre in what is called a mixed economy as opposed to the right wing supply/demand style. Both of the main parties, in America are right of centre parties. So you always know what you are going to get, n matter which one is in office. A president only has a maximum of eight years to change things and so none of them, apart from JFK has bothered. Just look what happened to him!!!
In the UK, we have a mixed economy and as long as a party wins elections, every four years, they say in power. When the Conservatives are in power, the mix is slightly right of centre and when Labour is in, we get the converse. Each one stops the other one from going out on the wing. fully, as Russia and China, certainly were at one time. But they, too, are changing, coming more into the centre from the left wing.
Most economists agree that a mixed economy is the best system. Polarisation just does not work, any more, as Russia found out, by going flat out military and space orientated, to the detriment of social care. There is a maxim, in economics 'Guns or Butter' It began to appear during the Napoleonic War, when Napoleon ordered all out armaments production. Hitler did the same thing. Both failed.
The banksters, in America realised that they could make a lot of money if the system never changed in any way. They moved in a tweeked here and manipulated there and basically took complete control. America was broke after the Civil War and European banks offered to bail them out. This was the birth of the Federal Reserve Bank, in 1912 which is neither federal nor a bank. It is a lending company, owned by shareholders, who are banks.
Now there was opposition to the Fed being set up and a meeting was to take place over the period of five days or so, when all the bankers would be in the one place at the same time. Where? On the Titanic!!!
600 bankers were n that ship for that meeting. JP Morgan, a Fed supporter and shareholder called off at the last minute and the ship sailed without him!!!! So the Fed lived on.
They lend the American Government money, plus interest and in return, the American tax payer pays their tax money, to the Fed, as part payment of the loans. The more money that the Fed prints devalues every Dollar and they get interest on every one issued, as they are being loaned. They cannot loose, unless the Government starts to issue money again, as JFK was trying to set up. Again, look what happened to him!!! Cuba had nothing to do with it. Big money, money, money bumped him off.
So Obama is trying to change the system, but he only has a maximum of eight years to do so. Therefore the changes must be radical and hard to swallow. Nobody likes change. The propaganda war is in full swing and the banksters have worked every fiddle that they can, just in case, American economics moves to the centre.
Their shenanigans are about to bring a Summer of riots and Obama had to introduce laws to give him Marshall Law and FEMA Camps. There had to be change, in America. Obama has been put into place to be the patsy to do it all.If his side win, then America moves to the centre and if they loose then America stays out there, on the right wing, in splendid isolation, with the military/industrial complex in full control.
Most of Europe, certainly the Uk, are mixed economy countries, now. Some left of centre and some right.
Russia is moving the same way and China is definitely on the move, slowly.
America must change, to survive, so will Obama be the front man, for her, to do so??? If and it is a big if, he gets a second term, then I think he will manage it. If the riots really kick off, then he is in trouble and will probably fail. So good luck America, you need lots of it, right now.

Each one stops the other one from going out on the wing. fully, as Russia and China, certainly were at one time. But they, too, are changing, coming more into the centre from the left wing.

Polarisation just does not work, any more, as Russia found out, by going flat out military and space orientated, to the detriment of social care. The banksters, in America realised that they could make a lot of money if the system never changed in any way. They moved in a tweeked here and manipulated there and basically took complete control. America was broke after the Civil War and European banks offered to bail them out. This was the birth of the Federal Reserve Bank, in 1912 which is neither federal nor a bank. It is a lending company, owned by shareholders, who are banks.
Now there was opposition to the Fed being set up and a meeting was to take place over the period of five days or so, when all the bankers would be in the one place at the same time. Where? On the Titanic!!!
600 bankers were n that ship for that meeting. JP Morgan, a Fed supporter and shareholder called off at the last minute and the ship sailed without him!!!! So the Fed lived on.
They lend the American Government money, plus interest and in return, the American tax payer pays their tax money, to the Fed, as part payment of the loans. The more money that the Fed prints devalues every Dollar and they get interest on every one issued, as they are being loaned. They cannot loose, unless the Government starts to issue money again, as JFK was trying to set up. Again, look what happened to him!!! Cuba had nothing to do with it. Big money, money, money bumped him off.
So Obama is trying to change the system, but he only has a maximum of eight years to do so. Therefore the changes must be radical and hard to swallow. Nobody likes change. The propaganda war is in full swing and the banksters have worked every fiddle that they can, just in case, American economics moves to the centre.
Their shenanigans are about to bring a Summer of riots and Obama had to introduce laws to give him Marshall Law and FEMA Camps. There had to be change, in America. Obama has been put into place to be the patsy to do it all.If his side win, then America moves to the centre and if they loose then America stays out there, on the right wing, in splendid isolation, with the military/industrial complex in full control.
Most of Europe, certainly the Uk, are mixed economy countries, now. Some left of centre and some right.
Russia is moving the same way and China is definitely on the move, slowly.
