AFP: Flare alight at North Sea platform hit by gas leak
Oops who left the gas on ?? Gas,which is not piped ashore, is normally flared off on every rig. However this rig developed a gas leak, which has floated up, to form a cloud. If this floats over the flare it will ignite and could cause a rig explosion. It is going to make it rather dangerous for any repair crew to get on board!!
