Petrol and diesel sales soar as drivers panic over tanker strike threat - UK Politics - UK - The Independent
The average wage of a tanker driver is £45,000 and they seem to want more money. Now, strangely enough, the possible strike comes at Easter. The tube workers are threatening strikes during the Olympics. The flight attendants threatened theirs last Xmas.Now I have nothing against Unions, without which workers would still be slaves, but why is it that strike threats are now round about the holiday times???
