More and more people in Israel are sick and tired of their Government's treatment of Palestine, among other issues. To me, it seems extremely hypocritical, to steal their land, hate them , shoot them and invade them, while buying their oil and gas, via a pipeline from Egypt, which goes to Jordan and Israel.
Of course, Israel wants the oil and gas fields, which are off shore. Currently, there is a 15 year lease set up, between three firms. British Gas (60%) provide the drill rigs, CCC of Lebanon (30%) provide the onshore refineries and pipes, a Palestine Trust gets a mere 10% for ownership, which is a lot of money. Egypt, Jordan and Israel, all buy the products. .
