Well this is a shop lifters get out of jail free card if ever there was one !! The police will not bother to come to the shop to arrest folks for stealing !!! Instead shops must hand in camera footage and get the people's details.
So if a shop lifter is detained he/she may claim assault and wrongful detention if no charges are ever laid and they need not answer any questions whatever regarding personal details. By wearing hoodies,niqubs or full Muslim style tents, they will be not be recognised on CCTV
