NYPD have been using buses instead of police vans to transport protesters and the Union, which supports the protesters don't like it !!!! The buses belong to the bus company who can take any contract that they wish. Drivers are paid to drive buses. In any case, an officer, pursuing his duty can commandeer anything to help him/her and reimburse for any damage caused..
