The Law quoted in this Article is the Law of England, Wales and Northern Ireland. We in Scotland have different laws. If a squatter breaks in to a house then the Fiscal may bring a charge of breaking and entering and criminal damage. The home owner is not the complainant, the Fiscal takes that job in Scotland.
