FED EX Scam

I got an e. mail saying that Fed Ex were having trouble delivering a new Dell laptop to me which I won in a competition. Could I confirm my name and address details.  I did not open it, but e mailed Fed EX  with a what's up doc?   Of course it is a scam !!   had 2 more since then
