Public protests and demonstrations are illegal under Saudi Law. The Saudi armed Forces are on alert and if it ends up in a blood bath, the whole country could erupt following all of the other countries in North Africa.
It is a much better and cheaper plan for America and others to ferment internal trouble. Let one side kill off the other side, selling both sides the tools to do so, of course.Then put in their 'placemen' assets in seats of authority in the new Democracy. Thus assuring future OIL supplies which could currently be cut off at the whim of one ruler.
