This whole piece is slanted against the taxi driver which is very unfair. The guy is a taxi driver not a mid wife. Nurses have been sued for trying to help people who have collapsed in the street. Suppose the guy made an error. Would the lady have then said, " oh well never mind." I think not.
He is also out to make a living. People tend not to want to sit in a taxi with the seats covered in blood and after birth. So he had to get it cleaned off which costs money. Why should he pay? He loses income while getting all the cleaning done. Not everybody has the stomach to do it themselves. £40 quid she was lucky, he did her a favour.
