With very few petrol stations, after the Highland Clearances, people have to plan their travel round a trip to fill up. Although in Scotland, there is only one refinery, from which all petrol is delivered, with the different companies additive in it and in different liveried trucks. But all the same basic fuel!! Esso have a storage facility from which they run a fleet of tankers. The facility is topped up by sea via their dock on the River Clyde.
