They run about looking all innocents at play. Then they crash into you. Oops! sorry they say and empty your pockets at the same time. Even if you can run fast enough they can't be charged with a thing.!!
They are taught that it is a game and okay to play, as the minders know the people and they are in on it the kids are told. If caught, of course, the kid is abandoned to be taken care of by the taxpayer, via social services.
In the mean time credit cards are being used to buy stuff on the internet as they have the long number and the code on the back!! All goods delivered to an accepting address, quickly, can be sold on and clean cash gained.
Should a punter have internet banking details in a wallet or a purse then their accounts are emptied for them too.
So what can you do? Put each single code that you might need, when you are out, onto a separate piece of paper (just the numbers) and distribute the pieces of paper all round your pockets and bags. You may lose one or two but not all and they will not know which number relates to which card that they steal.
