I have had the strange thought, for many years, that we are all 'living' within a constructed, computer driven, interactive life. I believe that we are in a history lesson of some future civilisation where we are actually living.
Just like the Holideck in the TV Show Star Trek, you lie back and dial in, where and when you wish to go.
You then go to that time frame and see how things were then.
We are put into a bio mechanical pod, which has a control mechanism to keep it functioning while we are here. Then as it breaks down,we sleep more in order to acclimatise to whatever we have missed, while we have been away.
We awake, back in wherever we came from and continue our life there or have another adventure.

So Ron Paul got turned over by the TSA at Clearwater airport. Why not? Is he any better than the ordinary sheeple, who go through scanners and invasive searches? Mrs Paul refused to go into the scanner,saying that she had a heart pace maker. Why was she not strip searched? The TSA bums backed off.

Foreign cars were coming into the UK with decent paint, which no British car had, at that time. Cheap Japanese cars were also appearing, which were reliable.

Different metabolisms get rid of alcohol at different speeds and so I would not trust these pills. Personally, I think that the limit,in the UK, should be zero,as it is in Sweden. oh and before you start, I ain't no goodie, goodie.
The first time that I lost my licence I had consumed two pints of lager and two whiskeys. I felt fine but was a little over the limit. I decided that if I ever was caught again, then I would be out my mind as it was the same penalty. Due to a kink in the Law, if a person refuses the test,they can only be done for refusing. If you take the test and it goes off the plot, then you can get a heavy penalty related to your score. So I refused the test, on my next three occasions. !!
There are so many loopholes,that a zero rate would cut all the crap out. One guy got away with it because he had been eating chip onions with his chip shop take away. The onions are stored in alcohol at some stage. Another guy claimed that his mouthwash contained alcohol.He was right and he got away with it, as did onion man. The drink driving laws are a joke

I am beginning to wonder if this phoney War is really an economic War. Do you remember when Ronnie Raygun played his best acting roll convincing the Russians of Star Wars.? The Russians put everything into trying to build counter measures to a system which did not exist and went broke doing it !!
There is a mantra in Economics 'Guns or Butter' which basically means that a countries' output can be either military or food production. Too much of one, causes great damage to the country.
Iran is building more ships, more planes, more swift boats more of everything !! So is this the same deal?
Israel cannot possibly defeat Iran in any War and must have America on their side. However the American people are sick of Wars. Therefore an economic war makes more sense and there are fewer body bags coming back on planes.

I remember flying up from London to Glasgow when all of this X ray of baggage started. my mate and I had taken the train down, on a business trip. Having completed our business,my mate, a keen diver,saw a mega diving knife with a long serated edge. This thing was 12 inches long and about 2 wide with a real heavy handle.
The train had taken hours and we decided to fly home. We rocked up,just in time for a shuttle flight and they stick or bags in the machine.
Of course, the knife shows up. The ground hostess is shouting,'hurry up' and a checker says,'what's this?' I tell him it is the zipper of a leather jacket and he passes us through!!! Might not happen, now but it made me think at the time.

I live in Scotland,so my escape route would be to cross to Northern Ireland. Then drive over the border,via country lanes, into Eire. Then I would be free to roam Europe,without a passport. I could transfer cash, via internet banking, from my treasure trove and pick it up at any ATM.

If your car sustains damage from going into a pot hole this is what you should do. Return to it with a ruler, a camera and a daily newspaper.
Place/hold the ruler upright in the hole and lay the newspaper down beside it having written the location on the top of the paper. Then take a photo. Taking a measurement showing the length and breadth also helps. The newspaper proves the date and records the location in the picture. Paperwork with you claim may 'disappear' but you have the photo.

When I began blogging, I decided to adopt the sobriquet of Paddy Fields, as I realised that there may be, from time to time, some people who disagreed with either the articles and/or my comment on them. I had also decided to pump out my stuff on Facebook and Twitter to get more people interested in my site.
I filled in E mail addresses and everything as Paddy Fields and I think that there might be about 5/6 friends who actually know that it is me!! many others don't have a clue !
When my Facebook page began, I was abused,sworn at, threaten with violence, allegations of sexual deviancy,grooming and of being a paedophile were all made, in concert and singularly. Why? All because I would not reveal anything about myself to them !!!!
The Social Network area can be terrific. Recently, a lady went missing in Glasgow and a poster was placed on Facebook asking for help. I have nearly 2,000 'friends' on Facebook and the Site is fast approaching 500,000 hits. So I lifted the poster and put it out. This is the great side.
Unfortunately there are still drug dealing posts and various other crap, on Facebook and the foul language is getting much more in evidence. It is, of course, too big to have people employed to read posts prior to publication but they could take a page out of the Spook playbook and search for keywords. I am sure that the CIA could supply their best information gathering site with older versions of Echelon

I just checked and a UK pound coin weights 9.5 grams Therefore each 500 coin bag weighed 4.75 Kilos
To my mind, these bags should be supported,underneath the weight, as opposed to letting the weight hang, by carrying them by the top of the bag.
By the way these coins are 70% copper with today's price for clean scrap copper being £2.50 per kilo.
So they were worth about £23.75 melted down. Not worth the effort!! The American cent is worth 1.25 cents as scrap!!
