Shrien Dewani: The vital questions that honeymoon murder suspect still won't answer

Shrien Dewani: The vital questions that honeymoon murder suspect still won't answer | Mail Online

When I read this tragic story, at first, I knew it was a murder set up. Read back through my posts. I thought how stupid to go to such a dangerous area, but he was a stranger, in a foreign land. I assumed that the driver was in on it, up to his neck, as he had stopped the taxi instead of' pedal to the metal.' But I began to feel that he was the tour guide bringing in the targets.
I thought that the husband just might have been freed, in order, to find ransom money to go back and free his wife. Unmarked, to make is story of a kidnap more believable, came to mind, but what decent guy would not 'have a go' in those circumstances and thus sustain at least, bruising..
Then it evolves that the husband is nearly £7 million in debt and the penny then dropped! It then was revealed that he had, in fact, been in South Africa prior to their honeymoon. The honeymoon itself became doubtful as it appears that they never married. Creditors pressing, perhaps. Then it comes out that he may have been involved in the murder of a family friend.
The crew are arrested and 'shop' him and he bolts out of South Africa. Evidence against him only amounts to the South African's word and testament and no physical proof has been found. Money was paid in cash, they said, at a previous meeting.
So by good planning or blind luck he escapes any prosecution, so far. I take my hat off to the investigating reporters both in the UK and i South Africa who worried this story in true terrier fashion. Well done where would we be without people like you !!
