Just how do you know what is in an urn without getting the contents analysed? A great scam to make cash is for the crematorium workers not to burn the coffins and sell them back to undertakers for re use. In another scam, payment for a state paid funeral of a tramp or person with neither money nor relatives, a claim can be made by the undertaker for the costs. So if he/she puts two bodies in one coffin and then gets it returned will have 'sold' three coffins and they ain' t cheap !!!
A modern hearse can appear at the crematorium with a deceased on display. But there is room for two more coffins under the main shelf. So either two more bodies can be cremated or two coffins returned in this way.
it just becomes a job. Like any other group of workers, there are always a couple looking for extra cash.
