The French love to take to the streets and demonstrate about anything anti government. Unionists and students are always in the vanguard of any demo followed by anarchists and communists.
Muslims have laid the first slab of a huge Mosque in Marseille and constitute a big percentage of the French population, mainly, coming from Algeria and other North African countries.
This ban will bring them out onto the main streets whereas in the past their protests, about housing conditions, have been localised. Will the "usual suspects" now be out to support the Government this Summer? What a turnabout that would be!!!
