The British sold Opium to the Chinese and brought down their Government in the 18th Century. The Americans bought Opium for weapons in Cambodia and Laos and delivered it into Viet Nam and shipped everywhere else Their mistake there was that their own troops got it and got to stoned to fight !!.
The CIA, Americans, buy drugs all over South America and pay for it with arms sales in Central Americas. Planes fly back and forward almost like an airline ! Remember Air America ??
So the Opium from Afghanistan will be funnelled into Iran, Pakistan and China by the Americans. Why transport all the way form back home ??
