I have refused to eat any bird since I was about 12 years old. I began to take an interest in cooking, for later survival reasons. My Mother was cooking chicken and she told me that it must always be well cooked. This has stuck in my mine since then and I have a tendency to overcook everything.Apart from the cooking issues,I did not like either chicken or turkey and completely understand the term rubber chicken dinners !!
