This sounds to me as a load of rubbish!! of course, the Gold would be insured, if not on it's own,then under any building contents insurance of the storage facility or if the ConnEd equipment was at fault, then their insurers foot the bill. The White Star line had a virtually identical sister ship to the Titanic which was needing a lot of repairs and updates. It is said that the Line was in financial trouble and could not afford the Titanic as the War threat was keeping people from travelling. It is said that the older ship was painted as the Titanic in order to make a huge insurance claim on a new liner. In addition, they would have the newer ship and not have to pay and run a second one.
Another few is that the ship was blown up as some 600 anti Federal Reserve people were having a meeting on that very voyage. Any power group, which might be able to stop the setting up of the Fed, was therefore removed.
So there could, in fact, have been two separate plots to sink that ship. Either way, the Captain just had to be involved in both plots. They were in iceberg waters but not enough sailors were on duty to watch for them and some equipment was switched off.

Every time that this happens I am amazed that it actually has happened, yet, again!!! Why don't people with rug rats and/or little holders onto furniture and/or bouncing about inquisitive little terrors, not just cut their blinds to a higher level ? The open and shut thing on the blind will still work.
If you need the toggle to pull the line then cut the toggle off. Cut, high enough up, so that it can only be reached by you and piece the two together with knots. You may then still use the toggle.

They have just declared an emergency saying that they are taking on water n heavy seas some 160 miles West of the eye of the storm.
Surely they had details of the storm!!??!! Why try to reach Halifax Nova Scotia just for another tall ships race, which will, in all likelihood, be delayed by the weather.
They just had to try it on a three masted sail boat!!! Madness, in my opinion. They should have hove to, behind the storm and road it out, instead of going in to hug the coast.

17 souls have abandoned ship and are now inside two lifeboats. The Coast Guard say that it is too dangerous to go out and rescue them and so they ill just have to ride it out!! They are all in radio contact with each other,at present.

Since Katrina any hurricane heading toward USA has strangely veered off course, probably due to HAARP. now suddenly, Sandy cannot be moved?! Figures for HAARP have been the highest ever on any coast!!!!
They started on the West coast and moved to the East coast having stimulated the Pacific currents.They are now steering the hurricane, in my view.
If the nuclear stations trip off line, then power on the East coast will be down for a while until the stations return back on line. This on top of flood damage could lead to a two week outage of power!! Will they have rolling power cuts in the rest of the USA and divert power East? Will they buy in from Canada?
This hurricane is going to save Obama. Marshall Law will certainly be declared and the Elections cancelled, just watch!!!

Hurricane Sandy has already claimed te lives of over 40 people as she hurtled through Cuba on route to the Eastern seaboard of the USA. Damage has also been considerable.
Should Sandy actually hit New York then there could be more loss of life and lots of damage. If she misses then there is still a huge financial loss to be faced. The transit people are closing down. The airports are closing down. People will just not be able to get to work as more cars try to get onto the overcrowded roads either bugging out or trying to get to work. The loss in trade will be huge.
Talking of trading, the Stock Exchange will, of course, be open!!!

I have recently passed a half a million hits for the site for which I thank you all. I began to take a look at the stats and got the calculator out/ I average 1500 to 2000 hits per day!!
My life revolves round updating the site, I don't go out much and have everything that I need delivered. The sleeping cycle is however shot to pieces due to the different time zones round the World Each 15 degrees either West or Est produces one hour of difference.
In Scotland at midnight, when normal folks are going to bed, it is 5am in India 7pm in New York 4pm in los Angeles and midday in Melbourne So you see my problems. I sleep and eat at very crazy times!!!
So I've decided on a little reward. On some posts there will be an advert attached. So if your bored, give this type of post a few clicks for me,which will give me a little money!!
There will also be some adverts appearing throughout the posts, but not too many.!!
