Shock horror!!!! Employers have just found out that people lie through their teeth in profiles for social websites. !! Those ahead of the game realised that employers might just have a peek at profiles so when looking for a job they lie about qualifications, experience and basically anything that will give them an edge to get the job. Faking up conversations to suit, in time for interviews for companies.
The employers think that they may lie on application forms but they wouldn't lie on facebook, now would they?
The idea being that people who know them would call them out on the details. But details can be altered anytime, for a short time.
By checking a FB profile and postings details already stated can be verified. Tells employer: luvs pets tells pals: just kicked the dog For high profile jobs "head bump feelers" are brought in to read public domain posts and judge people from them.
