Of course they will. It is a jump off base in the master plan of World Domination to attack China and it always has been.
I can remember writing in this very blog (memo: must scroll don to see that one again) while the Iraq War was going on that America planned to take the oil and use the middle east as a garage to jump from to go onward up into Russia and over to China on their World Domination Tour. It would appear that I was right!
