U.S. Commodities: Soybeans, Corn Rise to Highest in 28 Months - Bloomberg

U.S. Commodities: Soybeans, Corn Rise to Highest in 28 Months - Bloomberg

There are not too many food products on the market these days which don't contain some soya and/or corn.
The prices of these crops are shooting higher everyday and by the time each link in the food chain from farmer to homemaker gets their profit the food on the table will costing a lot more this year.
Then you have the additions to fuel costs involved in transporting stuff from here to there. So what can you do about it ? You gotta eat, right!
This is what I did. I bought a second chest freezer. I have been stocking away offers like by three get two free and other bulk deals. Just a fortnight ago I got a deal on Pizza buy one get two free so I bought three and got six free. The pizza was not moving fro the store and the sell buy dates were coming nearer so they pushed them out as a loss leader. Search for loss leaders and go buy loads of them and store them up. You just gotta look there are bargains to be had.
