Tory rebels and Labour join forces on EU Bill

Tory rebels and Labour join forces on EU Bill - Telegraph

It appears that the honeymoon period of the UK coalition Government is over. The European Bill next week may just fail as only a very small number voting against it can bring it don. This is the essence of coalition politics. A very few can control and direct Government policies and not even be members of the Governing party.
If coalitions continue in the UK they will slowly discover that a very few people can actually rule, who are not in office, just by setting up voting blocks with bigger groups. This can be a great thing in a coalition as the more ideology driven policies disappear.
As the numbers in the groups equalise out then you could get Right wingers voting for Left wing policies and vice versa as it suits their agendas.
