So that is why she may have bought the pizza. Bottle of Italian,half a pizza and a blether. So was it a burglar that she disturbed who is so hardened that he took the pizza too or are his prints or or more possibly hair on the box when she may have hit him with it ?
The police should have the bar code of the box which might narrow things down a little if they find loads of boxes. The product supplier may stick their own area sales and/or delivered codes on each pizza but it is more likely to have been on a big box containing several of the same type pizza. It may be an exotic type or a normal gammon and pineapple. I assume that now, they have got to sort through land fill sites and hope that it has not been incinerated in a modern plant instead.
