Noor Inayat Khan was awarded the George Cross in 1949, posthumously, in recognition of her exploits during WW2 and then memory of her drifted away in the fog of time. She was executed in Dachau concentration camp but now, finally, it has been decided to erect a statue in her honour in London. Read more.
