Stock Market speculators are moving into buying food futures to make money. Last year the coffee crop was 'bought up' then later copper pipe futures were in big demand. The thinking is that both are needed and so if they are in short supply people will pay more to get them. Now wheat, corn and Soya crops are being studied for buying and selling on a seasonal basis.
