History goes round in cycles. The British very nearly took over the World but the logistics became very stretched and they failed but put a bit aside in savings for another try, later. Had they joined with Europe, then, instead of fighting with each other over an island here and there the whole World map would, today, would be painted RED.
However America advanced on its own as did other British territories like Canada and Australia. The far east found out how to make anything cheaper and normally better with a few exceptions.
The American Empire is now declining and Europe is again rising to the fore and will eventually win the game with Scotland as the centre of power!!!!!!!!
