I am disgusted to say that this happened in Scotland where I live. Unfortunately kids are no longer educated they are just trained to accept whatever they are told as being correct.
Start them young and they will grow up in complete acceptance of anything. We've had cctv in children's school toilets and cloakrooms. We have them in most shops, offices and on almost every street corner. Now we have this taking and storage of fingerprints.
It is being put forward that it would be a wonderful idea to chip every newborn in case it is removed by some nut job. This is the thin edge of the wedge. The chip could then be left in place in order to have more information stored on it. Just plug the baby into the USB adaptor for upgrades from Central Control once a month.
