Iceland's dramatic landscapes revealed in mesmerising photos | Daily Mail Online
Many years ago, I flew into Iceland on route to Los Angeles. We were fueling up in Kevlavik,on the Eastern side of Iceland, which is also a NATO base. Being inside the Arctic Circle, the have daylight most of the time throughout the year.
The beauty was provided during a long approach over a cobalt coloured sea, with a huge wall of ice in the distance and in the foreground, chunks of ice floating, majestically along.
