As you may have read in my post, further down, I have been planning to get out the road to do some reporting and filming as News Of Society Explored Examined Exposed with Parker Fields, who is my younger identical twin brother, in charge.
I have had various problems regarding orders being placed and not completed, timeously. Anyway, I am sure that you do not wish to hear my tale of woe, which I quickly got sorted, by moving to other suppliers. So here is what I am taking delivery of next Thursday...........
Based on the Ford Transit chassis, with 2.0 litre 6 gear, manual diesel engine.(50mpg) It has 4 front doors, 2 slide/2 open and a rear door. There is an access ramp, at the rear, which has an electric winch!! Complete with spotlights, running lights, ABS, Cruise Control, parking sensors, electric windows, smoke glass, electric mirrors, DAB radio with mp3 hookup,5 seats, a/c, heating front/rear. Oh and the colour is Magnetic Grey.with alloy wheels.
I have bought a Cannon camera which hooks up to the net, via Bluetooth, shooting video/stills. I have ordered a Garmin truckers satnav and will be ordering an inverter, a fridge/freezer, a TV and dashboard holders. I already have a spare micro/oven, a grill/mini-oven, a mobile phone and another camera. So I can go out for longer than one day and pretty much survive with creature comforts. I have a sleeping bag and a single airbed.
Really, I don't think that I need much more. I have laptops and various programmes. So only time will tell how good or bad the product is gonna be. Hopefully a safe and fun Summer, this year with more years to follow.
