Hells Angels banned from Netherlands for 'inherent violence' - UPI.com
I have been in their pub, the Other Place, in Amsterdam, in which they have a ww2 Harley US Army messenger's bike hung on the wall, and chatted to a few HA members, prospects and old ladies. It was all amicable as long as generalities were mentioned. I believe that they own the pub and the building above, which they use for 'church' and putting up visiting chapters. Property ain't cheap in Amsterdam,
So they put up with 'rubber neckers' for proof of income from commerce. They told a story about a young drunk loud American kid, who came in with a bottle of Jim Beam. The kid offered a member the bottle and went to the toilet. When he came back the HA handed him the empty bottle. The kid got upset but the HA told him 'you give me a drink, you give my brothers one too.' The kid was then flung out!!
In some states in Australia, club members are not allowed to fly colours or show jewelry connected with a club. Some states do not allow more than two members to ride together.
If HA are banned in Holand, will other European countries do the same? What about other major clubs like the Bandidos, the Outlaws, Satan's Slaves or the Mongols and the support clubs, like the Red Devils, among many other support clubs?
Things could get very Interesting, indeed. I would like to see the authorities try to close down the Bulldog Bash in England, which happens every Summer.
