Will your bins now be collected once every FOUR weeks? | Daily Mail Online



I live alone and I can generate enough rubbish to warrant a weekly collection. So what could a family put out?  In some areas,refuse disposal engineers (binmen) will not empty a bin which is overflowing and does not close tightly!!   They have all sorts of Health and Safety issues these days to hide behind in order to get out of doing any work !.

The crew,which does my area,delegate a member to walk round the route and line up the wheelie bins in ranks two abreast. The lorry then trundles along and two guys load the bins,press a button and then put the empty bin aside. Residents must ensure that their bins are put out in the street and taken back in again.

How long will it be until we get a lorry and a driver,only?  Then residents will have to empty their own bins!!
