These things will now be delivered to Scotland, as the four nuke subs of the British Navy are based at Faslane, in beautiful Argyllshire. We can look forward to American delivery ships coming up the river Clyde, turning to port just before Glasgow and docking at Faslane.
Alternatively, they could fly them in to Prestwick airport, which would mean having to transport them through Glasgow city centre! The shorter route, through Renfrewshire, is barred to them, as my local Council banned all nukes from our County.
I think delivery by ship is the obvious answer. It could probably be done in eight weeks or so, at the earliest. Of course, this is if the Americans have any left !!! If the cheque bounces, it could be more like next Summer !!
