Reader Mail: What the Heck are These Weird Tracks on the Bottom of the Ocean? |

These could be tracks left after telegraphic cables were dragged along. They could be from fishing trawls. They could be derived from ancient mariners, gauging the depth of the Ocean with weighted lines. They could be migration routes, for bottom living starfish or other sea creature. These are only a few things which spring to mind,immediately. I sure ain't going to think up any more reasons.
