Tesco in row over advert for unpaid workers as it claims 'expenses plus benefits' offer was a mistake | Mail Online

These workshare jobs are just slave labour!! The person on unemployment benefit is told that they MUST take a job for 10 to 12 weeks with firms who just use them as labour and then pay them off at the end of the term. Then they just apply for a new batch!!
This is no creating any jobs which are obviously there but are being done by these slaves. The firms need the staff, but why should they pay them a decent wage and national insurance contributions, when they can get them fro free!
A person must also go to a central payout office to receive their expenses for travel which is always based on public transport costs at weekly ticket discounted rates. The big bonus, in this rubbish, is that the person is no longer treated as being unemployed and the figures look good as they fall showing growth which is utterly false.
