New evidence casts doubt in Lockerbie case

New evidence casts doubt in Lockerbie case - Africa - Al Jazeera English

It appears that some of the forensic evidence is being questioned. However, this guy, Gauci, who owns a baby clothing shop in Malta and was able to identify one man, over one year later, from all the customers that went into his shop should be looked at seriously. Not only did he I.D. the guy, but he knew, exactly, what he had bought !!!! The fact that he got $2 million from America may have aided his amazing memory!!!!
Why were the Americans so quick on the scene, landing helicopters and searching for a briefcase?? The briefcase is said to have contained evidence of the exact same route being used to smuggle drugs from Afghanistan, via Germany to London and/or onward to America. The route was blown by the investigators who were travelling home for Xmas. So it had to be destroyed with them.
Many people received warnings not to travel on that flight and actually had it taken off on time, it would have been well out in the Atlantic. A short time earlier, an Air India flight had gone the same way!! Was that a test run???
