Bank of England's glittering stash of £156BN in gold bars stored in former canteen under London | Mail Online
But is it all British? Many country's do not store their Gold at home and prefer to have it in a central store. They can then trade, very easily, be moving Gold from one cage to another, without having to have huge security issues moving it physically from country to country.
Note that it takes the DM to finally mention that it is not all British in the last two lines!!! I used to love this website although I never liked the paper much as it is an England is the UK type paper. Their top story is about 3/4 inches of snow coming to England during a British cold snap. See what I mean??
That ain't a lot of snow, really, in Scotland. But a big deal in England, which is further away from the Arctic Circle.
