Okay, so they think that they may hear robbery or attack details. But the recorders have got to be collected and then listened to....every one of them. !!! Now one taxi company in my town has over 100 cars. In Glasgow there are firms with 300 and over.
In a 15 mile radius to me there must be over 4,000 private and public taxis. For 4 hours of voice that is 16,000 hours of listening !!!! This is stupid but what is behind it all? Lampposts with listening devices, perhaps.?
