The tin blue line: The incredible police barrier used against anti-cuts demonstrators as they highjack strikes in bid to cause chaos | Mail Online
Where's the razor wire, search lights and mine field??? Can you spot the glaring error in this system??
There is a gap at the bottom, to allow use on uneven ground or across pavements. This allows officer's feet to be grabbed/hooked and pulled, thus toppling them over! It also allows flares and other items to be flung underneath. Just like any fence, it may keep people out, but it also hems folk inside the perimeter, making them sitting ducks, for over and under attacks, which they will not see coming.
Eight or ten people could get a hold of it at the bottom and throw it over. I am sure that plans to deal with it are being made!!
